PTI aftermarket?

does anybody manufacture aftermarket goodies for the Goliath. too bad PTI has went out of buisness. their axles seem to be a good choice for my 1.9 scale build.

I still have iA chassis in stock, they are designed to fit both the pti trans and the R2 (and r2d)

gears

Metal gears are available from myself or Mike Poulson

sorry for the delay in response. I don't know what an iA chassis is. Also are the metal gears really necessary for a 1.9 scaler? I know they are just tc3 ones , but i've ran my tc3 brushless pretty hard without fail.

motorman1600 11-07-2009 10:32 PM

The metal gears are nice to have, in a scaler they would last a long time. Plastic can break in a high bind.

oh ok. Are they something that you generally stock, or are limited amount. Would my assumptiom be correct that they would fit in my tc3 as well?

K_B 11-08-2009 10:04 PM

They would indeed fit a TC3. Nice gears; I have a set myself.

i think i've seen them but i want to say that they are for a locked diff though.not enough holes for the diff balls.dont quote me on that one as i do not own a set. motorman1600 would be the one to fill you in on that though

K_B 11-10-2009 12:15 AM

True, they would only work on a spool.
