Looks great. I see Hot Wheels, did you see the piece the History Channel did on Hot Wheels? My kid and I watched it the other night, it's pretty interesting.

No I didnt but I will look into it! My son and I are nuts about em. That's not even a fraction of what I have started collecting since 2012... late start but I got some good quality over quantity type stuff.

From left to right:
Ae86 x3, scion frs, 90 civic, datsun pu, Mazda pu, mazda rx3, Nissan laurel.
I will get pics of the whole collection once I decide where to put them.

Didn't want to add another post kinda derailing... watched half of the hotwheels doc last night with Andrew. VERY cool! we both got really excited when we saw our favorite designer, Jun Imai working on the 50th anniversary "HW50" project! and the 1:1 version from Bisimoto! i met Bisi once back when he had the fastest 1.5 liter SOHC Honda... same motor my car had. very cool to see him doing big things with hot wheels!
very cool documentary, thank you smog, for recommending! gotta finish the second half tonight!

Sweet. We have a couple hundred hot wheels that I bought through the past 8 or so years, but they have all been opened and run on the orange track. I love that you have managed to keep some sealed, i find it isnt easy to do.

One of the things I've hated the most since I've been in this hobby was not having my own workspace area. It's always been the kitchen island or the dinner table. It gets old setting up and tearing down everything.

So came up with this area for my rc projects. Will be great having my own space for my trucks. Wish it was a finished room, but it's way better than using the Island or table and hearing the wife say something like oh great this stupid truck thing again uh, lol. Can't wait to use it all soon, been super busy.

Look great, Levi! Nice and clean. What’s the blue material on your bench?

I wanted a pit mat, but could not find any the size of the work bench. So looking around I found a yoga mat that was the same size as the bench. It's almost the same material as a pit mat, but I little thicker. It's just held in place with double sided tape. I wanted to keep screws and small parts from falling on the ground and it seems to keep them from rolling off as much. Thought i would try it, if I don't end up liking it, I'll take it off.

lol I stole my wife's yoga mat a while back and have been using it to lay on when working under my Jeep. Probably 101 uses for these things that don't involve healthy women!

Everything is great about this workspace; sure feels cozy. Well, everything besides those nut stickers.

Hum... wow! If this wasn’t in the work areas topic, I would have thought you snapped a pic of a LHS. That is impressive sir.

Wow I love it, looks very clean and organized. All the parts hanging up looks like a hobby shop. Would love to have a room to put my stuff in just like this, one day, lol.
