Where do you work on your crawler? Im using my kitchen table, but I would like to make some kind of a work bench to go in my computer room so I don't have to move all my crawler stuff so I can eat. Got any good pics of your work stations so I can get an idea?

Even when I had a shop with a work bench, my favorite spot has always been on the living room table and on the floor in front of the tv.

I have a 12x12 shop just for my RC's and I still bring them inside and work on them at the Kitchen table (even when the wife IS home).

I have a little bench set up in my basement for my wrenching. Well, it's sort of taking over the basement now. But I built this bench to work from, seems to work pretty good, although I'm wishing I made it larger now. Here's a link to the plans if you want to copy it. http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehou...7b8cbf8f84e894 |

Spare bedroom, converted into a workshop. Much warmer this time of year than working in the garage. I've got 3x 4ft computer workstations - one for "dirty" work like dremelling and lathe work, one for assembly and one for storage. Built-in wardrobes (closet) along one wall for storage, plus 30ft of shelving. Still don't have enough space, as i run my part-time business (repairing antique clocks) from the same room. |

On the glass dining room table with one of those self healing cutting mats to protect the table or on the coffee table in the living room in the front of the tv. The Mrs doesnt like it, but she absolutely hated me building Downhill mountain bikes in the living room. I do have a spare room but its sort of full of bicycles and my drawing desk. One day i will get around to building a garage. |

| caymin last .... OMG!!!!! I don't feel so bad about my workbench in my garage now... This last year I was staying in a Navy barracks room, I just used a 2'x4' card table I bought at the swapmeet for $5, that and my tool box and I was set. The trick is to maximize your vertical space. |

I used to use the kitchen table but the wife didn't like it and it was a pain to pack everything away everytime we needed the table. Now I have a little area in the shed/laundry room off the carport. Just an old desk, chair, and a couple old shelves. It's cold and full of spiders but it works. I need to add a space heater and better lights but I keep spending all my money on crawler parts. Lol |
