look at the back side of the tire...its a tire similar to the little crawlers that came out a few years ago that were small and beltdriven...like this:

The Nylint tires that are in production are bad enough. I hope they upgrade the tires to a softer rubber, 1" taller would be nice. I wonder if they're going to come out with a new model? I'm sure they've learned a bit more about RC rockcrawlers, mostly from this site.

Here is what I see. The Scorpion is the 1/18 it has different tires. They look like Micky knock off. The Jeep is the 1/6th. The tires on it look like the ones that are on them now. The steering tierod on the jeep looks a little small, but that might be just the pic also.

You guys ever get the feeling that you're over-analyzing things a bit?

It's my guess that those were pre-production prototypes that were just used for artwork.

No not at all! I know I would have killed myself if my Nylint came with those tires.

I never said that the NYLINTS would suck or anything,I was simply pointing out that the tires are different in that pic that was posted. and I'm sure that it was just a prototype or something.

Badger was talking to JIA.
Yes you are right I was talking about the tires & "evidently", they were just prototypes.

I'm glad as hell they rethought it, "good decision Nylint"!
