look at the back side of the tire...its a tire similar to the little crawlers that came out a few years ago that were small and beltdriven...like this: |

The Nylint tires that are in production are bad enough. I hope they upgrade the tires to a softer rubber, 1" taller would be nice. I wonder if they're going to come out with a new model? I'm sure they've learned a bit more about RC rockcrawlers, mostly from this site.

also,if you look at the stinger on the Jeep, it looks weaker and cheaper.

Here is what I see. The Scorpion is the 1/18 it has different tires. They look like Micky knock off. The Jeep is the 1/6th. The tires on it look like the ones that are on them now. The steering tierod on the jeep looks a little small, but that might be just the pic also.

Guys what I belive he is referring to is the wheels/rims not the tires.

You guys ever get the feeling that you're over-analyzing things a bit? It's my guess that those were pre-production prototypes that were just used for artwork. |
