| Quick question?
When doing a tummy tuck with moving the boards. I know they can't touch ecah other right? Even if the battery isn't in or the when it's off? I don't want to fry my Jeep. But for what I'm doing I need to take them completly out.

It doesn't matter if they touch or not, you just cannot have metal parts touching metal parts in there...it will short out. If you have to have something rubbing or touching just throw on some electrical tape. Basiclly you just want to keep the electrons from jumping from one "path" to another.

Cut yourself an ABS square the size of the boards and place them between them so they can't physically touch each other. $.25 solution. |

I didn't remove anything when I did my tummy tuck. I just cut carefully ;)

What about capacitors? Any of those on the board? Wouldn't want that touching anything, even if the battery is out. |

I built an Alum...chassis for it. The only part that I'm keeping is were the arms bolt on and thats it. Going a little extreme on the belly up.
