| yeah that would be a killer combo as long as the pullers can handle the extra voltage??? I thought I had read that JRH does not recommend anything higher then 3s for any of his pullers....?

| Thanks Bud man I been so busy setting up my other rig and tuning it that I have not had time to post pics or updates on the worm... I'm waiting for the prototype version of the Fubar chassis I been running on my bully rig to get sent in to fubar labs...I'm gonna redo the worm rig with the same style chassis....soon very soon....I did not want to send the chassis in to be cut until it was set-up how I like..after a few comps on it now I'm happy with it...just need to send it over to John... stay tuned..... |

have you thought about running an inverted 4 link set up. where the top links come together at the chassis insted of the axle. you could use the shock mount on the axle to serve double duty as a shock mount and an upper link mount. This might give more clearance around the motor. just a thought, thats the first thing that came to my mind when i saw it.

I smoked a 10T puller fairly easily on 4s in my LCC, 12T pinion, plenty o'grease in the worms... I plan to run the 14T pullers on 4s in my Losi MOA build. So, I hope you don't have heat probs with that 4s-7T combo. Nice buildup, really like the axles, can't wait to hear some longterm reports. I think the plastic housings are a weak link in the Losi drivetrain. Considering the worminators as a replacement for the stock stuff if I keep breaking worms. |

Losi will smoke almost anything though. 7t on 3s and 10t on 4s is more for light axial or other R&P type vehicles. Kieren |

We are comparing their use in a worm axle, right? How would the worminator differ from the Losi axles, with regard to the load placed on the motor? |

Sorry, my bad. Tired. He updates this thread so slowly I forgot it was MOA. LOL As I was typing 25:1, I was thinking "I thought Jackson already knew that?"... |
