Take out the 3-4 screws in the front case... most likely the tiny white gear popped off.. mine stopped the first day as well. i put it back in and boom hasn't done it since.

does it make noise or is it quiet? if it makes noise its probably the gear. if it doesnt make noise then it could be a solder connectionin the front case/the little vented cover on top. |

Take the screws off the cover carefully so the return spring does not fly off, an verify if the pinion came off the motor. If so the scuff the shaft of the motor slightly with an abrasive. Put a small drop of CA on the shaft and slide the pinion back on. If there is no loose connection at the motor and the pinion is still intact, then note the colors of the wires at the steering motor, follow them back to the board and check if the connections are loose at the board if not and still no response from the stering system then I would call Nylint. |

If you're handy with a multimeter the circuit board is so small you should be able to trace the problem relatively quickly, if not call up Nylint CS and let them know. Good Luck. |
