Default Scorpion Vs. Jeep

We know the chassis is the same for both...

But it would be nice if we could get some numbers from guys with both or either

Body weight

Body width

Overall height (mounted on chassis)

Approach and Departure angle

Can the cage be removed from the scorp like the jeep's cagework and windshield can?

Numbers for the jeep:

Body weight = ~3 pounds, not sure on the accuracy of the scale

Body width = 11 inches

Overall height (mounted on chassis) = 14 inches

Approach angle = >90 without stinger, little less with it
departure angle = ~80

You're lucky I'm bored!

The scorpion body is also three pounds, not sure abouth the approach or departure angles, but it seems a lot les top heavy with the scorpion

im picking up a scorpion and a friend has a jeep... my wife runs a UPS store so i will put both bodies by themselves on the scales and get an exact reading down to the oz. it'll be about 2 week till i can do it though... so... sit tight.

Body wieght is the only thing i care about but i will try to get the other reading to while im at it. i suppose.....

Why the hell does body weight matter when you have a gazillion pound battery?

Believe it or not it does a little. But every little bit helps. I'm not saying this b/c I'm a big Jeep fan, but for the simple fact that one can do more Body work and Fab'ing with a Jeep body. A cut up Jeep just looks COOL. And all the cool kids are doing it.

I have one of each as of about 3 hours ago. The weight difference is as follows:

NONE. I weighed each of the bodies and mine weigh exactly 3 lbs a piece. The dimentions are totally different. The body on the Scorpion tucks the tires much better. Approach and departure angles are better also.
