Default When you mix a Jeep and Scorpion together

You get a Dodge! Just kidding. I'm new to this site and love what I've found so far. Here's a few pics of mine. I think I'll go pull some stumps!

Let me know what you think!

Actually it's not really that bad. The holes in the rings kinda grab hold. Besides, there's no rocks in Southern Georgia, LOL, The only place I can get a rock is walmart.

Default Custom winch

The winch is a very crafty homemade job utilizing a circuit board from another r/c, and a small gearbox with a motor mounted to it. The winch actually is mounted under the body and pulled through the front of the chassis between the shock towers and ran into my custom made fairlead I've got the winch working on a seperate r/c controller so a "spotter" can operate it while I drive. This would also work if you had a 3 channel set up and ran everything together on one controller. I'm in the process of trying to build some more but with a different configuration. This thing is geared ultra low and will amaze you with the amount of pull that it has. My problem is that I'm running it and my lights off of a 9-volt battery. Does'nt take long to drain one when you're pulling in the dark! LOL

The body came from one of those $11.00 remote control trucks from Walmart. This one was black, and I think they have a silver. They also sell an F-150 in the same remote control. Haven't tried it yet.

Smile Pics

Finally took a few pics over the holidays. Just now getting around to posting them. Sorry, the camera batteries went dead before I could get pictures of the damage on the dodge. I was also swapping bodies around so I undone the winch in these pics.. I'm also posting some of my Ford F-150. This is the same chassis just running a diecast Ford body. The body was heavy but super fun to scratch up! Also, single shock on back using diecast body = not too good. Two would of been much better!
