I thought that the video that came with it was good for watching the crawling until they insulted my intelligence and tried to teach me about wheeling's history and parts...kinda funny that my Dana 300 can have the fronts and rear axles shifted independently...so can a lot of other T-cases, but according to them it is only the Atlas II... |

Besides, they needed sponsors to pull this whole deal off. Who has a prominent sticker slapped on the side of the rigs as shipped . . . Dana or Atlas? Just MHO/$.02 . . . | |

I guess I am just a stickler when it comes to misinformation. I know when I first started out I watched the power block and thought that was the God spoken truth...now I realize I was having advertising crammed down my throat. I would have been happy if they said "the only aftermarket transfercase" instead of the only transfercase. I guess people who really want to build something will learn in the long run that it isn't the only one. There was one line in there from one of the guys who formed one of the organizations, can't remember which. I forget exactly what the line was, but it was REALLY bad and funny if you have your mind in the gutter and take it out of context.

| I hear ya . . . I'm just trying to be an optimist overall about their product (and ignore their mistakes) since it's provided me so much fun/bang for the buck and they've been so accommodating regarding repairs. |

Mine only has screws at the top of the shock mounts. Does the updated chassis have screws top & bottom of the shocks? What is the metal plate at top of axles for? Are there pics posted of the changes? Thanks! |

In comparing my crawler to my friends, mine had plastic splines on one part of the axle where his had a pin that would always break. Now they are up to metal splines, so there are some mid generation ones out there that seem to be pretty strong.
