Youre parents are very smart people, my parents taught me the exact same thing. But in his post he never searched. I told him about the upgraded chassis and to search for it on the board...his reply "got a link?" Anyhow, I have been registered over there (pirate) for quite a while too...never got flamed once...out of 150 or so posts. The reason being because I searched, since if I had a question someone else more than likely already did too. And when I read and read and still wasn't sure, or the answer wasn't exactly what I was looking for, then I posted. And when I posted, I pointed out that this is what I searched for, couldn't find it, and if someone could answer my question, or point me in a direction where I could find it myself I would appreciate it. I think that is the key to not getting flamed...and so what if you do get flamed, that is what pirate is known for...its just the internet. Those guys are hard asses over there because they started as an awesome board that had a ton of useful and cutting edge tech, and as that got popular it went downhill fast. They took the hardnose approach to try and stop that. Now it appears to be the "cool" thing to do for new people over there that got a few posts under their belt. Although, they did start telling people not to be so bad, so maybe you should check it out again. Christian

I appreciate the decent reply. Im not sure what I really expected :neutral: Pretty cool, even for a Jeep guy Zuki all the way! But I guess i am now an official Heep owner since I got the 1/6 Jeep bodied crawler !:-P

He is the owner. You may not get ahold of him the first time, so please call again. Call several times if needed. I am glad to see people like yourself stand up to Badger. Us "Mods" can not stand him and would love to see his "Mod Status" revoked. Unfortunatly, us Mods have complained too much and Will gets tired of hearing from us, so everyone elses' voices help alot.

I think the main point of this entire thread that badger is trying to stress is the fact that all of the info on this entire site is mearly "OPINION". If you want to modify anything, you are doing it at your own free will and in no way is anyone here to be held resposable for your modification. This site is used as a tool for the good of the sport and holds a grip of great information, but with good info also comes bad info. It is up to the end user as to which "OPINIONS" to use. I highly suggest that we all just take this as a learning experiance and move on.

No problem, I try to remain civil most of the time, lol. It takes quite a bit to piss me off to go off on someone. Even though I can hide behind a computer screen, words can hurt no matter where they come from. And we all know:
