Default Ax-10 Scorpion Steering

I bought a aluminum servo horn for my Ax-10 but when i went to install it. It was hitting the lower steering bar. So I dropped the bar lower so it would fit right but now I'm thinking it my be down to low. So maybe I should raise the servo and but everything back to the way it was. I guess I'm asking what to do? or is it OK the way it is.

Everything with the new servo horn looks good. I am not seeing any sort of issue.

I would try to get the tie rod up on top the knuckle arms. Might be able to use the shorter hole on the new arm and cut the outer one off. Raising the servo will raise the cog, not a good idea. Flipping the arm up will also work.

Flip the horn 180 degrees so its pointing up and run a longer link to the other side? The horn will probably hit the ground when you flip over though, maybe build a loop over top. That will allow you to run the link on top of the knuckles, maybe even with a spacer too.

Raising the servo will affect the CG a little, maybe.

keep it the way it is in the lower pic.

its gonna get you hung up occasionaly so low, and eff up some approach angles.

take a basic BIC pen apart, and slide the white body part over you lower steering link. that will help you and your link there to "roll over" stuff, until,

you chalk up and get some VP High steer knuckles lol
