forced arti maxx ---- 1090 on the 35* ramp
tlt --- 762 on the 35* ramp
stick --- 820 on 35*ramp

now are you meassureing from the middle of the tire the high sid or the low side?

cause the score will vary greatly

forced arti maxx low side---1090 on the 35* ramp
high side--1308 on the 35* ramp
middle---1199 on the 35* ramp

I don't see how this is cheating. Your wheel base would be the same from the center of the rim, as is would be at the bottom of the tire? Unless you’re talking about the distance traveled up the ramp. Then you would measure from the bottom of the tire. :?

RTI = (distance traveled up the ramp / wheelbase) * 1000
tires at trail pressure, shocks connected, driving as straight onto the ramp as possible, whole tire on the ramp

example - (80" up the ramp, 80" wheelbase) * 1000 = perfect 1000 RTI

by lowering some air pressure in the tires, or not keeping the whole tire on the ramp, can help with RTI, but it's kind of cheating.

But a 20* ramp is for p u s s i e s. I built a scale RTI ramp and it's around 35*. That's the only reason I did the 35* ramp.

oh ok.

well 20* or 35*, the scores should work out to be the same anyway. You would go up 9" on a 20* ramp, but turn around and only go up 7" on a 35*

here are some other scores from 2 yrs ago What's your RTI score?

Bingo.

With the amount of flex we get with the RCs a 20 degree ramp isn't ideal.

After seeing Dave's ramp I built my own...at 35 degrees as well.
