Default looking to get my first cralwer here what i found so far .

Ok so i've been doing some searching and reading here around th board lately and here it what I've found that I liken crawlers and in my price range to start up etc .
58405 Tamiya Toyota Land Cruiser 40 CR-01 Kit
http://www.ckrccrawlers.com/shop/ind...roducts_id=878
I really like the looks of its supsenion and what not I was curious if any one runs it or something simliar and could point out the pros or cons for?

Then here is my second choice .

http://www.axialracing.com/ftp/scx10-kit-v2/

I'm leaning towards the Fj40 , just cause I am liking the suspension a little better of looks and flex . So does any one have any input on these two rigs . Thanks .

id have to say im an scx guy, not nocking the tamiya tho but you wont find a wider range of accessories out there than for an axial
(wider range of accessories = more options for you = more competitive pricing = better deals for you = possibly cheaper build)

its great chassis to go scale, but if you want comp the go with the ax10 unless your wallet grows then just buy a tuber or more le-jit chassis...

I'm not much of a scale guy (yet, but the idea has been growing on me more and more)
I really dig the looks of the new Honcho and axial makes great products!

axial is an excellent start. You can easily add aftermarket parts as your wallet can handle

the axial crawls better, has way more optional parts, and is a more scale foundation for a build. you can mount the tamiya FJ body on the axial if you want too.

Yea that is what I figuered I could do with the bodies is switch them in and out when I wanted too. I do like the pickup from after reading it and more add on is what this stuff is all about . This will be my birthday present this year lol . It also a 100 bucks cheaper too .
