Default Tummy tuck

I know it's been covered before but I figured I'd post mine up as well. Followed a hybrid of directions, and the body fits without lift or cutting, everything is secured down except the battery and the switches are still usable.

It's actually sheetmetal, costs about $2 and you can make 3 out of a sheet from a 2'x2' piece. Cut it with aviation snips (tin snips), folded it with hand brakes and used self tapping screws to secure it to the plastic. Took longer to figure out where it stick everything once it was finished then it did to make it. Should slide very well and paints well also. Plan on painting it next week. Thanks to you guys for leading the way and the tip on putting the battery sideways so I didn't cut the floor out! I can now crawl up my deck steps, but no go with "real" stairs.

I did the same stuff, except my electronics are hidden under the same cover, just turned them horizontal and tucked them snug. However, for the battery to clear, I re-attached the front tab that holds the body down onto the chassis, lower, so that the body is essentially raised up a little. It works as well.
