| Getting the AX SX10 kit soon , need list of electrnics I need and motor/tranny to get
hey guys well I've just about ready to buy my first crawler here next month. I've come down to the Ax scxy10 kit. So I was curious on what motor and tranny I should get for this along with the electronics as well . I'm just nervous about putting this baby together once I got it . Should be a fun time !

it comes with a trans.. you mean esc??.. they make so many, its personal preference. you could run a cheaper esc ( $35 ) lathe motor ( $30 ) decent servo ($30?) and a radio/reciever.. I have an AX10 kit and I got a Novak GOAT set up, 645mg servo, a duratrax reciever and radio from a 1/18 vendetta..lol.. works great.... so I recommend you go brushless if you can afford it.. much smoother, more power, and long run times.. and thats right..you need a battery too...jeez, lots of stuff. thats why i havent got one yet..ill be in the $800 range..
