Default hobby class diffs on nylint

Im kinda new to the crawlin thing and my 1;18th nylint has crapped out on me.
Steering went out and i figured it would be easy to just swap in hobby class
electronics/radio and put some good diffs under it.That way i wouldnt have to do a complete mock up.Anyone put in clod diffs?Probably too large but i dont know
any other way to do it.I could just stock up on nylint crawlers so i would have diffs.
But i need to learn how to build my own anyways.Whats your thoughts?
I may just need to get a tlt-1.

I'm noob too, but I think I will eventually be doing the same. Just using the Nylint as the teacher before spending more on the good stuff.

Just get a TLT. There's nothing of use on the Nylint to put clod axles under. The chassis sucks, the body is too heavy and big, and the shocks are worthless.

The Nylint really should never be anything more than a Nylint.
