A guy came into the LHS with the exact same problem. About 1/8" in on the wheel they were cracking.

It was like the beadlock ring was cracking off the main portion of the wheel.

95% of these wheels i've seen cracking are from the front beads not being seated before you assemble the wheels.

You have to put the face of the wheel on, then stretch the bead over the bead seat area so it sits down nice and flush, wiggle the wheel around a little, and then you're good to go.

I know because not only did I crack a few wheels, i stripped out a few holes until I realized WHY it was doing it.

Now i just gotta buy spares because i've split two wheel hexes down the middle (still stock belts no splippage )

I'm considering making a metal sleeve to go just over the OD of the wheel centers but i am switching to 40series 23mm's and 7" lst's so no bother.

mmmmmmmm my friend just had that happen the last time we went out. he had flipped it over one of the worst rolls i have ever seen at the rc level but he picked it up and flipped it over and seemed to work fine then at the end of the day he did a total check up and realized the 2 rear wheels were cracked badly:? so he just threw on his otherones but still that sucked

why does everyone say "imaginary beadlocks"? i had mine apart last night putting BB's in them and if the outside ring comes off, the outer bead of the tire will come off.
