Default Just Jeeps Toronto Staff Rock Crawling Course

So me and a few of the staff members here have gotten into r/c rock crawling do to the lack of trail systems for 1/1 scale trucks in the winter time. Our owner had originally allowed us to build a small non movable course in the back of the shop. This quickly became an issue due to the fact of not being able to move it.

One of our mechanics Mike and I decided to fab this up so that we could pick it up with a forklift or pump truck and be able to move it.

So lets here the comments!!!

Item Used:
8x4 skid x 2
2x4 x 2
4x8 Sheet Of Plywood
Chicken Wire
Salt Sacks x 1
3 30kg Bags Of Concrete

Total Cost so far: Under $30.00

Layout:
  1. Top section molded concrete
  2. Approach will have logs and rock and is hinged. Items will be fastened using screws and construction glue.
  3. Rear section will be off camber with molded concrete.
Process:
  1. Mount one skid 3 feet above other skid.
  2. Cut plywood into obstacle shapes and fasten to the top skid.
  3. Wrap obstacles with chicken wire and staple to hold.
  4. Cut burlap and mold over chicken wire staple to hold.
  5. Mix concrete and lay over burlap about 1/4" thick.
  6. Allow to dry.
PS last pic is of my AX10 running a Cloddyman custom Delrin chassis.
