I cast the plastic gear into metal. We have tons of scrab chrome cobalt left over here at the lab so I made a casting of the plastic gear then filled the casting with wax then we put investment around the wax then it is burned out in an oven and then we put molten chrome cobalt in. Here is the finished product. Sounds alot more complicated than it is only took about 2 hrs for the this one. I am sure it can be done alot faster since we send out over 500 units aday from the lab. We are also saving our plaster and stone and making rocks. I have one have of the materhorn done that is the base the gear is setting on.

Let me know what you need and we will see if we can duplicate them. We are a dental lab so rember the parts must stay pretty small. I will need original plastic parts to make molds.
