UPDATE: I've been wheeling this thing pretty hard for the last month or so, and its capability has far exceeded my expectations. I just upgraded to a Cirrus hi-touque servo and so far, its a huge improvement. I've had a lot of problems with the stock nylint wheels cracking and breaking, so right now I'm working on a 2.2 beadlock wheel that will mount directly to a nylint axle. I'm thinking that metal gears for the axles may be in the near future too, as the plastic ones don't much seem to like wheeling hard with 2.2's. |

I have you beadlock solution, just check my 'beedlox' thread. i could defintely go for a set of metal gears for the axles, my front end is in pretty bad shape. Any ideas on what might work? the drive gears in the planetaries are stripping out on me. Im sure the drive gears on teh axle shaft will be next. Id rather upgrade then spend $40 on a 'parts truck' if its only gonna happen again. |

Very nice build. Its impressive how steep it can climb. Seems like your suspension design really works well. I might have to copy a few things from the rear. Doubt it will be able to climb as steep since I'm going to keep the heavy stock body for now.
