Check your wally mart for the smaller battery!
 

I was just at walmart and I was looking around and saw that 12v fast and furious battery sittin inbetween a bunch of other batteries and chargers, I grabbed it, package looked a little abused, sticker on it said $18... I ran by one of them price scanners said $5 so I put it in my cart :mrgreen:

Next time your at walmart check for that battery. For $5 you can't complain eh?

for 5 bucks i will buy one tomorrow......2 actually!

They were marked $18 but I ran it through the scanner and it said $5.... See if they have em then run it through the price scanners and see what the price is...

For $5 for a smaller battery and charger can't go wrong there

Any more details on it? What is it's capacity? Does it come with it's own charger?

Not the same aH rating instead of 4.2ah like the stock one this one is 2.3ah.

So your runtime is probably cut in half, my walmart only had one otherwise I probably would have bought 1 or 2 more. They're smaller & weigh less.

This is for the 1/6th Nylint, I posted in there don't know why it was moved. I seriously doubt it would work with a 1/18th.

Nope not entirely identical. I bought it just cause it was $5 Here's some pics of the packege and it.

You can read the UPC from the picture so you can have your local walmart look it up to see if they have any in stock. I found this out from another member on the forums. Check out the thread in 1/6th "Extreme Nylint or Whats left" he used this battery and was claiming about 90minutes of run time. Thats still pretty good compaired to the ole 15minutes we got with rc cars back in our day. at $5 if you could get 4 or 5 of these you'd be set for life... The charger that came with the Nylint will work also and charge it faster. The stock charger is 500mah or .5 amps an hour, the one that came with this battery is 300mah or .3 amps an hour.

i will be going to 2 walmart tomorrow, if either one has them for 5 bucks, im gonna pick one up.....i want to build my chassis so that it fits in there nice and snug.

if not, i guess i will just use the stock battery, wont have as low a COG as i would like though :(

decided i would deposit some money into my checking account so i could get one off ebay. get home ready to click buy it now, and there aren't any on there :(

I got that same battery a few weeks back. It was the only battery left and scanned at $1 :lol:

Cashier looked at me funny and bagged it..muhahaha

Mine lasted 40 min until it got dark and i stopped. I've been playing with the nylint a couple days a week indoor and it still hasn't died.

i just bought one off ebay for $10 and free shipping and will buy another is i find another for $10 and free shipping....i deposited $20 to cover buying a battery..and i need 2 of them sooo..... :lol:

woohoo, just bought another "slim" battery off ebay. $.99 plus 5.94 shipping....

so i am getting 2 for less than the price of one if i had found it at walmart :)

the first one is the same as everyone else is using

the second one i bought isn't the one that everyone is using, its basically the same demensions, but is 2ah instead of 2.3ah, but i will have 2 batterys to keep charged up ready to go, and can just switch em out while running it and still have about the same amount of playtime as stock :)

Yup now just get another and yer ready ;)
