Losi comp crawler 18.5t goat, delrin links, dig servo mounted to the radio tray, lowered steer servo, tires of your choice, and some suspension tuning works awsome! At the last comp I was at ( before I had my dig servo in the tray, delrin links or the goat) I was hangin with bergs and got a perfect score on one course, now it crawls a lot better! And I'm looking for a top spot at my next comp Sure the Losi takes a little getting used to but it is awsome once you get it tuned in and a few cheap (or free) mods done to it, I really like the fact that you can take it out of the box do a few free and simple mods and tune it and its extremly compable! Stuff my axial would have trouble with at my home course, its now boring and easy Last edited by 2500hdon37s; 04-03-2010 at 10:56 PM. |

I used to run a V1 Berg, it worked good, but I like the way my Losi drives over the MOA.

Any rig you spend time practicing can become a deadly competitor. But I'd go berg. |

I have a LCC and i have driven some Bergs on practice courses. I the bergs are easier the drive in my opinion. I am getting better with the LCC. Not sure if you know much about dirtbikes but a LCC is like riding a 2-stroke. Sure its competitive but its no 4-stroke. I like the LCC because its not the "cheeter rig". With the LCC you can say, "I just did that line with a shafty!"

i have a lcc and a moa. i think in the long run you will have more fun and do better with a moa than the lcc. the maintance of the lcc. if you have a moa on 3s a lcc on 4s still doesn't have the same wheel speed. i like the lcc but i like the moa better

I think that if you don't plan on modding it, replacing the chassis, shocks, etc, the Losi is far better straight out of the box. However, at least for my style of driving, I just don't think that the Losi would hold up. I used to break my Axial every time I ran it...of course I was running a 10t cobalt Puller in it. I currently run a T1e stage chassis w/ Rockshow cab on a modified (for more steering) set of light weight bully axles. I wouldn't trade it for any other rig. I use a DX6i controller & 2 ESC's, and have total control. I can easily drive out of bind situations instead of breaking the shafty or burning up a motor. |

I agree that if you go MOA get the V1's and a good chassis (there are lot's to choose from) A set of Traxxas big bores, some 300s and a rear straight axle kit.You will have a top of the line setup for less than the Tracer setup. V1s and a Juice chassis are only 210.00 dollars total!! |

Well I don't knowif this is helping. Now it sounds like it is between a V1 and a LCC. Although I am the type of guy that can't keep anything stock so I am leaning towards the V1. |

Drive a built Berg V1 and the Losi before you decide. I have a heavily modded Axial and switched over to a Berg. I missed the shafty, sold the Berg and rebuilt the shafty. I'll probably drop the coin for a Losi one of these days. My point is, a MOA drives a lot different than a shaft driven truck. Quote:

I'd run a slash...lock both diffs...3500 VXL brushless on 3S 9000mAh...can't go wrong.
