Default Advantages to running shocks upside down

Hey guys, I tried the trusty search button but it came up with nothing. I have noticed lately that some guys are running the shocks upside on there trucks. I was wondering what the advantages are to doing this if any at all?
thanx
Mike

I run mine upside down, but I don't really notice any difference. Technically speaking, it lowers your CG by a hair, but you'll never notice it.

And they leak less!

I've also gotten away with not needing both ends to have a ball in it, because it's mounted upsidedown.

Hmmm Interesting points, I was just curious to hear everyones opinions on this. I thought I might have been missing out on some amazing upside down shock thing and was about to go home and reverse all my shocks LOL.
Thanks guys
Mike

every comp that I have done well in, I can totally attribute the success to the upside downs shock. It was the best mod I have ever done. Even better than locked diffs.
