Default Burned Out Board HELP

Alright Here's my problem... while building my tube chassis crawler, I took the stock electronics and put them in a 4x2x1 project box and wired the motors and steering back up and now nothing works. I have a few options; 1.) One of you nice guys sells me your extra main board, or someone explains to me EXACTLY what I need to get to wire up the stock motors and steering if possible. Also keep in mind that as a poor college student cost is a big issue.

Also If anyone wants I have an extra Scorpion body chassis with shocks

PLEASE HELP ME

Is there a way you could post up pictures of your board? Other than that I would say just check all your connections to make sure they are good. But most importantly to make sure your battery is on and correcly. Pics would help though.
