| no front reverse?
My crawler's front axle will not go in reverse. the rear one goes in reverse but the front one just locks up. any ideas what i can do to fix this:neutral: thanks Matt Last edited by AUTaco; 01-26-2006 at 04:46 PM. |

i took it apart and it is my motor it will only spin fowards not backwards, anyone know why htis could be, a bad connection or sumtin? thanks Matt |

more than likely its your board. try hooking up a battery both ways to see if motor spins both directions. |

I agree with Jeepguy, more than likely a board problem. I burned up the front portion of my board, so I just wired both axles to the side of the board that originally controlled just the rear axle. It works pretty well, but if you run it hard for about 20 mins. the board gets real hot and it just stops working completely. Let it cool down for a bit and it works fine again. I guess it is just too much load for the one side of the board to sustain under hard use. I am converting to hobby grade electronics to fully fix the problem and get proportional throttle and steering, but wiring both axles to one side of the board is a decent temporary fix.

its most likely a blown transistor on the board. happened to my bros so we tested and came to a blown transistor. We couldnt find a new replacement with same numbers. but im sure ya'll can find one worthy.
