| Best Belt Slip Fix!
I don't have belt slippage problems anymore. I bought some GUNK stop slip Belt Dressing spray from the autoparts store and drilled some access holes into the axles near the motor pulleys. Before we go crawlin each time, I just give it a quick shot of the belt dressing onto the bubber belt and pulley while holding the crawler upside down and the throttle engaged. Run it for about a minute in forward and reverse and go have some fun with the mega belt grip you will now have. Works well for both the drive belts and steering belt. Woo hoo! The thing has monster torque now. I got hooked with this RC crawler stuff though now and am building a Stick based Clod crawler. Now my son and I will be able to go out and wheel together |
