Except for their Bully-based crawlers, they don't hold a candle to anything Axial makes. If you want a good reliable crawler, go with the ARTR AX-10. I've driven both the Diablo and the Rock Rider and both need a ton of tweaking to get them to perform half way decent. The shocks are the big drawback. You don't get your money's worth with the Diablo or the Rock Rider. They look cool; that's all...

I have a rockrider chassis but it is all axial running gear. It is a fun kool looking trail/basher rig but not comp worthy.
Rock Rider Build
The rc4wd kits/axles/trans (the bullys are tough) really don't hold a candle to axial for performance/quality/durability imho.

Well I'm glad I found this thread! I was about to pick up a used Rock Rider chassis. I'm at a toss up between tubers to convert one of my SCX10s. Really leaning towards the DMG Alluminiti SE though!
