Try searching outside of the Nylint forums, it's amazing what you will find. http://rccrawler.com/winch.htm |

Use a micro servo. There are MANY sizes of servo available, one of them should do what you want. Last edited by vlmarshall; 02-02-2006 at 04:40 PM. |

If your truck can't make it up a SERIOUS rockwall, find a good anchor and start running cable. A winch can make the difference between climbing, and falling over on your head, but there's no sense in making it do ALL the work, when you have two more HUGE motors and gear reductions in those axles. | |

In the Tech. page, there is a Step-by-Step way to build a winch from a servo....Unless you have already checked it out:-P

| i use the 1/18 method and with it in low gear using a 7.2 volt pack to run the winch this thing will pick my 1/6 off the ground and i have soem funny video of my new E-maxx getin pulled over a rock pile that it couldnt climb by my 150$ wally cralwer. but anyways the 1/18 rear axel is a very effective winch! |
