I will be strating a Sticked 1/6th Nylint. I'm going to use my spare chassis. I will be buying everything from Lowes and farm stores to build this thing. Plans for the build. 1:6th Nylint base Chassis: Homemade Stick Motors: Stock Axles: Front Stock, Rear Shaved Body:New HPI Jeep Body Battery: 3300 pack maybe a 14v Tires: Stock Nylint tires Wheelbase: Some where in the 17in ball park not sure yet. I will be using the stock mounting place for the factory arms. So it won't need links. This should be really simple. Goals for this are to be lighter then my Extreme Nylint I just got done building. I had plans on building a TLT, but since I have a baby on the way money has to go other places now. So the Nylint build is way cheaper. Last edited by run2jeepn; 02-10-2006 at 08:00 AM.

so what are you going to do with your last progect are you selling it.... no i am just joking. i would love to see this thing when it is finished, and knowing all the stuff i've seen from you it will be very nice. i would go with a ff battery on the front axle and the electronics on the rear axle. it should distribute the wieght easily and give you wieght over the tire for taction. alos i should have a really low COG, so i wouls highly recommend it.

That's funny, I was thinking about the Stick chassis and the Nylint while I was at work today. What about driving that center pin out of the axle pivot and Sticking it from there? I guess the only other thing a stick needs is something like light torsion springs to keep the body upright. I can't wait to see your chassis.

come on Run where are you i want to see a nylint stick that is made nice and good by a real builder i guess it is taking you longer than i thought to build your stick. if you died or some thing it is okay then but you haven't replyed on you own thread for more than a week and that is illegal in my book.

| no i know some guys who can't put together a chassis in our LHS and they call them self RC hobbyist. the extreme nylint was a great build. now if you make a sticked nylint then you might consider yourself a real builder? and what about your 1:1 that means you can build so are you implying that you broke rule 128/A in the crawler rule book on to build your rig and not buy it built by another guy. | Now since I saw the Sticked 1:6th Nylint I going to start on it very soon. Need to make a few trips to Lowes. Need to but some cutting wheels and other stuff. This chassis I bought from another member so I don't have a remote. So if anyone has an extra I need it. I have a 1:18 that I can trade. I don't have remote for it, but do have the battery and everything else. |

Well I got some work done today. I took apart the rear axle and found I was missing some parts. The low/Hi fork was gone. I most have pitched it. Anyway Gutted the rear and fixed it so it only has low gear. I also cut and trimmed the axle housing for better flex and clearance. So far nothing new. I'm thinking of moving the channel and on/off switches in the rear axle where the little motor was at for easy access. Might not. Don't know yet. I'll be making a trip to Lowes soon to strat working on the frame of the beast. I'll post pic's soon. I'm having problems with rcpics.net with uploading video's and pic's. If anyone knows a good site to upload videos post up.

Well here some pic's of the carnage so far. Just starting on the first little stages. ![]() ![]() ![]() This time I just cut all the wires. Last time I cut everything around the wires. Let me tell you. Cutting the wires is a hella lot easier. I had 2 or 3 wires come off the board last time. This way there is just less moving of the wires. Well I have more pic's later of the shaving the rear axle and the trimming the housings for more flex. Tell Next time. Peace out.
