cutting the blue t abs off won't do you any good as far as flex or performance. they are only there to limit axle droop and compression.

I didn't cut mine off but I did move my arms back and lower, I just used 2 self tapping screws and left them a lil loose, it seems to have more flex then when stock and more then my stock Scorpion. I used beveled head screws that when left a lil loose act kinda like a bushing leaving the arms to move freely Jeep, 3 tires on ground, 1 on Scorpion tire. stock Scorpion, 2 tires on ground, 1 on Jeep tire, 1 airborn, a pack of cigs can fit under where I have the pen. I also think it looks better with the stretch. Last edited by freetimecrawler; 02-03-2006 at 05:02 PM. |

When I cut mine off I noticed that the axle would want to pull under the body. The shocks would stop it but it was still annoying.

I wouldnt bother with it, They are just limiting bars and they do not affect the flex enough to justify the funky driving up hills, and climbs once they are gone. When i accidentally got rid of the channels that they sit in i drove without rear shocks, and once i took it up a hill the rear axle flipped completely under the truck and rested under the front tires! oops |
