as long as you let it dry out, it wont do much to it.

I´m afraid that wasn´t a good idea. The motors work fine even under water but the water will corrode them and, believe me, there still is a lot of water inside your motors and they will be wet for several days. Dont worry, they will continue working, but take this into account in the future...

Darn you! I accidentaly ran the front axle into a little puddle, didn't even get halfway up. I pulled it out, instead of continuing driving. Now the front axle doesn't run

Wow...Yes, Waterproof it!!
First, pull your battery and DRY that truck!

Rinsing it with clean water wouldn't be a bad idea either. The biggest problen is that every energized portion of your electronics are going to 'electroplate' themselves onto all the grounded parts. (read as: Corrode)

Pulling the battery will slow it, rinsing the mineral-filled pond-water will help, too.

Other than that, I hope it was as fun as it seems, truck damage aside... getting stuck in the middle of ICE WATER doesnt seem like fun!

i used to do that with a cheapo 2wd rc truck i got from a closeout at KB Toys. Welded the rear, sealed it up, glued the tires up so they wouldnt fill with water, and moved the battery to the bed
it was cool- it would float, so i couldnt ever get it deep enough to get the electronics wet
