there is a wealth of misinformation coming from different people. keep calling if you like, but dont hope for much. that is unless you have time to sit around and make phone calls and emails. seems the only people that ever get replies have to keep on them. dunno. but you are correct in what you have heard. have seen the same info on another forum.

He got a new crawler not a chassis. I imagine they have a stock of complete crawlers, but spare parts are a no no right now. I did the same with Steve and they sent me an entire new crawler as well.

Strange, never been asked for Any kind of proof that I even have a Nylint Jeep but have gotten One replacement for one broken Jeep. I am however waiting on a reply or another Jeep for one my son broke. We have several here now but keep managing to break them. While I won't ask for any more replacements, my son would at least like his broken one replaced as it was a gift from his Grandparents.

I too have found nylint to be less than satisfying to deal with. When my truck broke I sent numerous e mails and called a few times before finding Steves direct e mail.I figured once I found that I was all set, however instead I was told that the parts I needed ( after already fixing the same parts once with used stuff from another truck, and needing them again ) were not available alone and that I should buy a new chassis for 69.99 ( that isnt available from what I read on here, but no reply to that when I asked Steve ) I need the knuckles and shafts....I have countless hours into this things appearance and use it very lightly compared to alot of you.I guess my willys body can be adapted to fit something else. In my oppinion they fell a little short on customer service in my situation. I am sure from what I see on here that the squeeky wheel gets the grease, and that Nylint has obviously given out alot of free product to alot of people that took advantage of them. I have read stuff on here that I cannot beleive people would DO let alone TELL anyone about it!!!! but where dose that leave the rest of us?
