Default New Bronco Body

I picked this body up at Wal Mart for 30.00. It has L.E.Ds and a smaller 12v battery. I'm still in the process of making it rock worthy. It is kindof bulky right now, nothing the dremel and razor knife can't fix.

The body ism't for the nylint but it is a 1:6 scale and the wheelbase fit really well. The front and rear over hang a little but I will fix that.

The tire rubs the front of the back fenders, not to bad though. I am going to cut the wheel wells out a little bigger to fix this.

It makes the tires look small.

I got one of the Broncos the other day also, couldn't let it pass by for just 30 bucks. I have not had a chance to actually mount it yet, but the wheelbase is just right and the leds are cool for stock.

I also have one I just started...lol 30.00 here too...got to replace the led's with flash light led's to see at night. I am keeping some of the chassis from the bronco attached to keep the inner fenders and body integrity. how ever my nylint is pretty much had it so this may end up with a different base....cant fix a nylint with out replacing it!!?!!

Looks pretty nice! Extend the rear a 1/4" and it should be just about right.

I picked up one of those on Sunday for 30 bucks as well. My plan it to build an aluminum chassis and use my clod axles with cheyenne beedlocks and moabs under it. Should make a pretty bada$$ crawler. I might have to go get another one and put the body on my 1:6 nylint.

Default New body

I am going to run out tommarow and get on e of those bronco's. I still need a Nylint. I was holding out for the scopion, but I guess it doesn't matter any more if I am just going to change the body.

Was mounting the new body on the Nylint very hard? What was involved?

Thanks

It was easy to mount the bronco body. All I did was modify the bronco mounts. When you look at the bronco body you will see the mounts. I drilled some holes in the nylint chassis and drilled mounting hole in the bronco and that's it.

I finally got my dremel tool back, so I was able to mod the bronco body to be more rock friendly. I narrowed it and dovetailed it a little. I am going to make some rockrails for it and probably do a rollcage in the rear. I still need to finish the body work and paint it but I thought I would post my progress.
