Default Rear pin shearing

Ok, I need some input. I have lenghtened my nylint, and flipped the tires, and a few othe mods. Anyway I keep shearing rear pins. The first I was climbing stairs, so I can see why, but the last two have busted without extreme crawling at all. What are you all using for pins in the rear axle that won't shear so easlily? Also, have you had any gears break, by elimintating that weak point?
Thanks

Mill the end off a 5/64 drill bit (the non-helical end), use that to replace the pin and put a small hose clamp around the plastic peice it goes through. You'll break a whole lot of other stuff before you break that drill bit.

Thanks!, I am going to do that as well as put a copper sleeve around it and drill through it as well, then use the bit. It should help I think.
thanks
