dream rigs

if money was no object what would you build or have built?

i have too many to list but one that i have never seen anything really resembling it is a scaler f150.
i know that there are f150 scalers but none quite like this.
it would run an all rc4wd drive train (killer transfer case, bruisers F/R, 3 of the 7.something to 9.something punisher shafts with custom adapter to link 2 of them in to a super shaft), either 1.55 or 1.9 black steel rims, what ever tire looks best after assembly, a hand made frame, hand formed 26 gauge body, a full interior and a full light set. this beast would be powered with a 1/8 scale BL system on 4s.

i forgot to mention this monster is a true to detail 1/8 scale trail truck.
the length bumper to bumper is around 30" and would weigh in at about 40 LBS.

Duuuuuuuude 05-27-2010 02:59 PM

Mine would have lots of "alloy", mad torque twist, and climb windshields like a mountain goat. "thumbsup"

I just got the truck I wanted (Tundra High lift) but one car I will probably never own that I would like would be an original Sand Scorcher. The re-release is out, might have to settle for that soon. :ror:

scale4x4 05-27-2010 09:13 PM

my dream rig would be clampy"thumbsup"

NoobCrawler 05-27-2010 10:08 PM

A Stefan special. All the trinkets too. His trucks are insane and a nice chunk o' change.

cbtu0914 05-27-2010 10:51 PM

1/4 scale version of shannon campbells salmon colored flat fender that was in ttc in the '90's, that thing was freaking cool, first time I saw I rig running quarter epiliptic leafs, and it did some pretty awesome things for a homebuilt rig. And to the poster about clampy, nice 4WOR mag reference.

ped453 05-27-2010 10:58 PM

Shadowreject's MRC with 720 degress articulation"thumbsup" oh and 93FOrdbronco's muddy rustler

HomerJ 05-28-2010 06:26 AM

I'd just build a HUGE place to crawl that isn't more than an hour to drive to... Something along the lines of Oakes Quarry, FOTO, or LRC....

country_crawler 05-28-2010 06:40 AM

A berg, DX3R... and whatever else i need.

vipxj 05-28-2010 12:52 PM
