Default tire advice

I have a 1/18 scorp and I would like to refit it with HPI geolanders but I have a few questions. Is anyone running the geolanders already and do they give you any more clearance? If you are, what rims are you using and how do you have them attached.
all advice will be welcome.

I swapped tires on my 18th and found out i like the stock tires better. In my opinion the geolanders only look cool and you would be better off with moabs.

I run the geos on my 1:18 and love them. The Moabs are a great tire as well but they are a lot bigger and I kept breaking stuff.

Check out the wheel adapters thread in the 1/18 form. Click the image to open in full size.

I don't run any foams in them now. I had foam in them for a while and I even cut the foam to try and make them better, but they work great without the foam.

It is a good way to mount 2.2s but the wheel/tire combo is now dedicated to a Nylint. If you fabricate or get hex adapters 1/4 female to 12mm male your wheel/tire combos can be used on several types of vehicles. I know I spent $55 on my moabs/w hpi wheels. My Nylint was $35. So I bought hex adapters from RC Crawler Boyz.($27) Now I can switch tires from my TLT to my Nylint and to my nitro ST.
