Default Shock options

Im looking to start a build up from scratch but i im not too sure on what shocks to use. I will like to be able to adjust from droop to sprung since i dont know how this frankestein will react. Are there any other options out there other than the Gmade?

seems to me that you can run just about any shock as droop or sprung... have you looked at the losi 4" comps or axial aluminum comps?

I'm still really likin' the old Axial alum. body versions.
Used them in a few droop setups and they work very well.
I have the G-Made ones on my 1.9 scaler..they work great but the plastic cartridges leak.

I know, the leak is driving me crazy, I already changed oil and it still leaks. Maybe I need to go with teflon and slime!

integy 108mm. overall diameter is big but they lasted for like a year. considering damn near all shocks leak eventually they lasted long enough- not have to buy a new set yet.

I've had my Big Bores for almost 5 years, I've changed oil and spring set ups many times, but I've never had to rebuild them. They're absolutely bomb proof.

i used a little teflon paste
the more times you changes the oil and take em apart the worse they get
now i have 1 cap that won't even tighten up,,.
