search button is your friend, but I can't tell from any of the pictures...

Ask the ebay dude if the shocks bolt on, on the bottom also. If they do you're in good luck! If not I think I'd pass.

tell him to pull the tire through the hole a little and see if the lower shock mount is a screw or a pin, and also look for a metal plate on the top of the axle where the knuckles are attached

I Think The Jeep's Are The Older Ones. I Know That The Green Scorions Are The Better Chassis. Thats The One You Want.

+1. Now, all yellow Scorps should be 3rd gen, and IIRC< all red Scorps are gen 2's, but Jeeps could be any of them.

Geez!!!! You can have any friggin body style available and have either a Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 3 or a Gen 4!!!

Body style makes absolutly no diffrence, by selecting a body style though its like getting luckier. The Jeeps were more popular so there is alot more Jeep Gen 1 and Gen 2 Jeeps then scorpions, that doesn't mean if you make sure and buy a scorpion that your getting a Gen 3 higher.
