I can't speak for its durability, but I'm looking at the same tranny, or possibly the Summit tranny.. I know the summit lacks dig/disco, but that really is not a huge factor to me (being able to freewheel the fronts that is) on my scaler build.. I'm more interested in durability & cost.. Cost I can speak for: Summit tranny $57.99+ $4.49 shipping on fleabay all day, any day (Buy it now's).. RC4wd 2speed w/ dig: $99 + shipping (Which is more then fleabay I'm sure.... ) Now, maybe someone can enlighten us on the durability of either unit.. ~Kev |

Durability is what I really am interested in, I want the disco for the scale realism of a 2wd 4wd truck with Hi/Lo gears.

Well we have enough interest in it but does anyone out there have any experiance with it? I might take the plunge if I didn't have about 3 months of straight work coming up so no time for projects.
