| New Stand For Crawlers? Scalers?
As some of you know, this is a local manufacturer to me. After some input on their older-style stand, they decided to release a new version (old style still available, and all parts are STILL interchangeable. They make stands for virtually everything out there). But anyways, there were requests for a more portable stand, so they halved the size, and here you get the 5.5" 360 stand. It still works great for most things we've set on it. The base is still plenty stable.. Retail cost is $49.99 and all of it is machined aluminum and steel. Also comes with a 1/4" foam pad to top it with, to provide a non-slip sort of cushion to keep the truck in place! Currently only available on www.ajsmachine.com. Feedback welcome. And if this is against the rules, by all means please remove or move (wasn't sure if this is better suited for the tools forum). I am not the manufacturer nor do I profit from sales.. I just picked one up myself and thought I'd share.. |

I just got to use my stand for the first time this weekend at the races (I got the 5.5 universal stand with 4" cradle) to use with my Losi Mini Late Model. Man it's sweet.. the compartments on the bottom were great to hold the little screws and prevent them from sliding off the table (which happened to my friend lol). Makes it a breeze to work on as well.. can whip it around to work on one side or the other without picking it up.. and it makes a great display stand as well.. Highly recommend it! |
