Default Starting A New Build!!!!!

Starting a build got most of the stuff for the actual truck but still no chassis form the shop.And also waiting for the chassis then ill go to the lhs n get the links n ball ends and rims and servo mounts and u guys are gonna see a monster come to life

I had custom dimensions made just like Lt.Dans chassis type from a machinest i know i just got moabs, mlst esc, 2055 servo, and a savage 3-channel radio system in today.....

Just arrived also is my 6-cell 3000mah NiMh batts gonna give me AWESOME run times!! got both of em for 13 bucks on ebay!!!!!

All electronics am gonna build 2 Of these nylints but ones gonna have different tires cause its gonna compete against me!!

Moab Tread I HAD TO OPEN AND SEE WHAT THEY HYPE WAS BOUT N I LIKE IT!!




Anyone post some tips or advice on anything would be awesome thanks alot!!!

It looks like you're off to a great start! I'd start looking around for a stronger servo, you're going to need it with those Moab's. Watch that esc, I've seen one catch fire

yeah i got that covered its just the stock connector that catches on fire not the actual esc.....i ordered some deans connectors.....yeah the servo isnt too powerfull but i thought if it can turn the big tires then mabye the moabs but i think i may try and find a jr590z i think u can get those pretty cheap and ive herd they were good servos

I'd be wary of the venom transmitter, they like to heat batteries up to dangerous levels.

Really ive had that transmittor for awhile and its the only one ive been able to keep no matter what it always finds its way back but it works ok with a tq3 reciever havent had any problems o and also does anyone have a servo they wanna sell like an jr590z or any 2055's that will push the 2.2's??

I's just warning ya, my short lived mini giant's TX used to loove to heat up batts. Some do it some don't.

well i stopped by the lhs n man it was a tough decesion but i picked up a chevy c-10 body ill get pics when i get it all painted up the chassis should be here any day now then its to buildin
