| Here's my story....
So, I finally got a crawler I was searching and searching for a crawler for like 3 months. First I was gonna get the Redcat RS10, then I was going to get the exceed maxstone 8, then I was going to get the Losi night crawler. Well long story short, I pretty much looked at every single crawler out there. I went to the hobby shop today and was determined to buy a crawler. First one that attracted me was the HPI Crawler King, then I looked closer and realized that it felt kinda week and had almost all plastic parts. So then I looked around the shop some more, looked at the Axial RTC and Losi NC. Wow this was a hard decision. So finally I made a decision!!!!!! I wanted to go with an Axial product because I mean come on, you cant go wrong with Axial. I got sucked in to the RTR Honcho!!!! Woo Yeh!!!! Tell me if I made a good decision or not please. And thats my story on how I bought a crawler |

Probably the best choice for a first crawler around right now, great little truck. Start saving your money, this is going to get expensive! |

Doesn't the RTR come with a bunch of plastic you were trying to avoid? Don't get me wrong that is a great truck, I would of went for the kit, but they might not of had one so i understand. Plus you would of had to buy a motor and esc, bec and all that jazz. So for jumping in head first, I say you couldn't of picked a better starter truck! |

\/ Live long and prosper I say. Not really sure what that has to do with your crawler choice, but hey, you made it, the universe didn't implode and now you've got another car to spend money on. Good choice. |

Out of every option you said that was by far the best! You will have more fun with that Honcho and won't "out grow it" like you would have with all the others. If you really dig crawling and want to compete you need to go MOA. Stay away from the Losi stuff IMO! I really like a lot of Losi products but the MRC needs so much work, the Comp Crawler was a nightmare and still not as good as a MOA. Welcome to the scene. **Edit** You have been here for almost two years, have almost 250 posts and just got a crawler yesterday? |
