Why not just buy an SCX and slap a f350 body on it?

think if you search in the vender section, about your qt. one of them might be able to help. put out a feeler thread stating that you want a 10th scale to look like your full size. one of the venders migh help ya alittle beeter than I can

It won't be easy to make a 4 door F-350 hardbody but there's plenty of talented guys on here who can. It all depends on what you can and will pay for it, RCC is one of the places where the saying "you get what you pay for" holds true. There's some really high quality stuff available to be built for you but it's not cheap. I myself want an IFS KOH truck but for the abuse I'll put it through, no point spending $1000+ on one. Therefore I need to research tube chassis design and learn to braze, I just never have the time. As mentioned above, an SCX10 with red links and shocks is actually pretty close to what you're looking for and won't break your wallet, the trouble would be that 4 door body. Here's a thread showing the process of making one, I just googled it but there's probably a thread on here about it too. http://www.scale4x4rc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=37106 |
