Thumbs down 1:18 range

Yeah I searched, "doesn't move, won't move, antenna, range, electronics, controller" and didn't find an answer.

Problem: Jeep won't work unless I stand directly over it (no range). I can't get more then just a couple of feet from it or it won't run. Battery was fully charged, controller is fine, and I even tested it with my friends controller and it did the same thing. Checked the circuit board last night everything is in tact and no two wires or metal are touching each other. It has never been driven in water or broken the antenna. I even drove it for 45 min in the house standing over it the whole time just to drain the battery and after recharging it I still don't get any range on it like I used to. Any solutions? Thanks!

Sorry so long!

check the solder point on the board where the antenna mounts and make sure all is good... you may just have gotten a bad connection... I have a semi "the crawler Hauler" that ive been working on and I had to cut the antenna just to get the body off and it does the same thing now... line 3-4 feet of coverage.. thats it... heck, try replacing the antenna... see the related thread... cool, I checked out "broken antenna" thread this morning and am kind of following it to see what people say. I tried to follow and check all the solder points especially the antenna wire one and all looks good and in tact. Maybe I'll rip it apart again today after school. Thanks

Make sure that when you are using your car there is no hobby grade transmitters around. The same problem happens to me in this situation. Seems to be normal.

Hope this helps.
