If you can figure out something to do with those crappy diffs, you'll be on to something for those of us running brushless. I can't imagine how they will stand up to a 55t motor if the wheels get stuck. That being said, I have had great luck with boiling my gears and my 6000 Hyperion. It works well and I don't have any problems stripping the gears (yet). I think I've just lucked out though. I'll see how well it holds up once I get my 2s lipos.

Well, so far I got the chassis done by using the stock E-Maxx chassis braces and mounted the tranny towards the front and used the stock chassis plate from the Mini LST as the electronics mount. For now, Ill run the xrs if it works well. If not, ill try and get my hands on a rooster which would work perfectly. Im not sure about motor but Ill find the highest turn 400 size motor and use that 400 size gear reduction and see if it could be low enough. Im shooting for a wheelbase around 12 inches and with the wideners, it will be as wide if not wider than the tlt. This this looks sweet and maxx shocks are going to be perfect. Hopefully there will be pics of it tonight with the servo mounts made and upper link mounts set up if I get the material today.

Thank you guys but I have yet revised that axles and cleaned them up a lot and added some aluminum. This revision is what im keeping it at for keeps. As of right now, I have to make: Driveshafts Links Upper Link Mounts Lower Link / Shock Mounts After that, hopefully I can get this baby crawling. I will be taking pictures pretty soon. Im just mounthing the electronics as we speak. And for the diffs, I hot glued them ( All 3 ). I intend to get the spools as soon as this glue wears out, just a matter of time... So check back for further updateds and I will try to get those pictures up within an hour or so. Peace :-P

| I'm sure you already know this but a great wealth of info can be found over on www.one18th.com. What are you going to do about the weak dogbones and terrible ring/pinion? My friend devised a brilliant idea to use universals in place of dogbones. You might check his goliath setup out for some ideas. traxxas sliders on a goliath obviously the tranny end not the axle end. I must admit that looks like one HELL of a truck and if it works out I'm gonna follow in your footsteps for DAMN sure!!!! Keep up the insanely good work man! | I have the solid center spool for mine and I just ordered the metal diff spools. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1 Having the front diff locked might be a little overkill for bashing so I plan on only trying one in the rear to begin with. |

Well, Ill let you know once I get this truck for myself done about the Kit. But I'm thinking around $90.00 USD. The Kit would consist of... Included (2) F/R Upper Link Mount Plates (1) Servo Mounts (4) Lockout Links (4) Lower Link / Shock Mounts (4) Shock Towers (2) Steering Links (1) Chassis w/ MLST Mounts (1) Detailed Instructions A lot of the cost is for materials and shipping for your part. Im only making about 3 for now because im not quite sure if I need a Vendor Star for this or not. Check around for further updates. I usually have something new everyday but lately im begining to run out of money for link materials. Anyone have an idea for driveshafts because im not going to extend the stock ones that far because of strength issues. Last edited by Eclipse; 03-28-2006 at 09:51 AM.
