What bigger tire options are there besides the 2.2's? I want something not quite as wide. Do they come in a narrower size? V

i would go with the geolander 2.2's and narrow the wheels that all you can really do unless you go with some buggy wheels and tires which wouldnt be to good for climbing/crawling

You can always cut and narrow the tire. I cut a set of imex claws and they look and work a lot better than stock. It looks just like a Baja claw. If you look under "sneak peek part 2" you'll see a mini buggy I did with the tires.

I'm running a set of 2.2 moabs on narrowed rims and they are the perfect size. I only extended the wheelbase enough to keep the tires out of the body and ended up at just a hair under 11". I like it alot.

I was thinking along the lines of another tire and rim all together. I was hoping someone found an other cheap RC at Walmart(or any aother store) that the tires/wheels would be good upgrade. V

I think your best option is moabs on nerrowed rims. so you want bigger or smaller than 2.2s? you could nerrow some clod tires I guss but for me I like stock cuz the look scale but when I want to do some sereious crawling (well as sereious ans you can get with a walmart tou) I use the 2.2s. Just try different things and see what you like. thats the best way to fint the best set up.and no one can realy tell you what your best set up is because evory ones is different. Hope that helps...?lol

I narrowed some Stampede wheels by about an inch then took some Imex Baja Claws and cut an inch wide strip out of the middle and glued them back together. They look sweet on my Scorpion and at the time I put them on the only mod I had done was stretched the wheelbase a little. Some day I'll post pictures.

Yeah, New Bright had a hummer and Jeep TJ with Mickey Thompson Claw tires. The rears from the New Bright will slide on the Nylint front axle will just need a longer screw. The rims on the front of the new bright will need to be flipped and cut, then use the stock Nylint silver rim and 4 screws to connect each. Not as wide as a 2.2 and just a hair taller. Send me your e-mail if you would like a pic or two of them on my scorpion. Nick
