Default LED head and tail lights

i stumbled across this on the tower site and thought it might work for head and tailights on the nylint jeep bodies. what do u guys think. sounds a cheap solution and it looks like everything is already wired up.

10 bucks is NOT cheap for 4 LEDs and some current limitting resistors.

i have read other posts on here from people saying they spent over 20 settings up lights. guess that includes batteries and stuff too but if u can hook this up to the stock battery then it sounds cheaper to me. or is 7.2 volts too much???

The micro rs4 comes stock with a 4 cell battery holder, and the "upgrade" pack is only a 5 cell. So the resistors for this light kit is probably valued with this voltage in mind. This may or may not work with a 6-cell pack. Probably will still light up, but you'll probably be overdriving the LEDs and severely decreasing their life

If you DO buy this, the only thing you can use is the LEDs and as i said, MAYBE the resistors. The battery connectors are micro connectors, and on the Nylint it's a Tamiya. That would mean you'd have to solder up your own connectors, or hardwire them to the board.

And for the money... these 4 LEDs and some resistors are VERY expensive.
