I want the springs for my shocks to be a different color than they are now. So Im wondering what kind of paintcould I paint them with. Normal spray paint would chip after a while wouldnt it?

Use a paint with a flex agent or try shock socks. The shock shocks are nice since they help keep out dirt.

Maybe the Krylon Fusion paint will work. Since it is made primarily for plastics it needs to be able to flex to a degree. I painted my Willys crawler with it and dovetailed the rear with no cracks in the paint afterwards.

You could also use the balloons that they make balloon animals from. Cheap, lots of colors, and easy to do.
