Talking Day at the beach (56K beware)

an hour of rock crawling on the beach...enjoy!

and this is why i love that place...

i was amazed by how well she did...and i think my rear end is going...sometimes under a lot of load it sounds like it is skipping teeth...and i made the mistake of running through too much sand, and that screwed up my steering for awhile...it was fun anyways...

the beautiful (yet normally cold and windy) shores of lake superior in Marquette, Michigan. today was awesome out...windy, but i've grown accustomed to that...then it rained and i got out of work early, so it was a pretty good day all in all.

it's kinda funny, but that whole area was ice one week ago...i love that spot. unfortunately you can only get out to those rocks on really calm days and in the spring. the water comes up over the sand walkway in the summer and fall.

Im having the same problem you described( the teeth skipping) in your rear axle in my front axle. One of the gears in the planetary gearset is stripping out in mine. I have only had it for a few days and been wheeling inside. Does anybody have a good fix? Otherwise Im stuck with high gear, which sucks. Maybe this ones just a dud.

i have that happen occasionally, even more when i'm inside, probably because of better traction on the carpet...but it did happen several time on the rocks...i think the only fix is to replace the gears....
